Alison Doody

Alison Doody is an Irish actress and model. Her birth date was November 11, 1966. Her debut in a feature film was a small part in the Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). In the following film she was portrayed as a Nazi-sympathising Archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan Donnevan's role as A Prayer for the Dying (1997), Charlotte Taffin (1988), and Rebecca Flannery Major League II (1994) also play roles. Doody began her modeling career after she was approached by a hopeful photographer. She has since transformed into commercial modeling. Doody did not like glamour or nude work. This was a principle that was carried into her acting. In 1985, after receiving notice from the directors of casting for an upcoming James Bond new film, Doody took a small part of Jenny Flex as in A View to a Kill. Doody was selected as one of the 12 most promising young actors in the year 1986 by John Willis Screen World. 38. Doody was still only 18 years old at the time of her appearance in the Bond role. As of today, she is the youngest Bond girl. A Prayer for the Dying (1997) with Mickey Rourke, also featured one of her roles as IRA Siobhan. Doody played the role of Archibald's wife, Lilias as he portrayed his fantasy in the television adaptation The Secret Garden. In the Jim Henson fantasy episode The Storyteller in 1988, she played Sapsorrow with John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. The first time she appeared was in the film Taffin opposite Pierce Brosnan. Next, she played the role of Dr. Elsa Schneider as an Austrian archaeologist, Nazi-sympathizer, and antagonist to Harrison Ford. Doody was in the film with Sean Connery in the film and played the role of her father in the film. In the year 1991, Doody played alongside Jonathan Pryce in British mini-series Selling Hitler inspired by the published fraud known as The Hitler Diaries. She then moved to Hollywood. She played Flannery in Major League II, opposite Charlie Sheen. Doody came back to acting in 2003, playing a small role on her role in the British comedy film The Actors, in which Michael Caine played herself at an awards show. She starred along alongside Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film adaptation to King Solomon's Mines. Doody was a part-time actress in Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). She later guest starred in the medical drama of RTE The Clinic and was set to appear in a remake of the horror film The Asphyx but the project later stalled. Pam Jefferson, the character she played in E4's comedy Beaver Falls during its first season that ran for two seasons. She also appeared on the show in 2014 as We Still Kill the Old Way. In November of 2018 she was awarded the Almeria Tierra de Cinema Award and received a Star on the Walk of Fame in Almeria.
