Gugulethu-SofiaMbatha also referred to as Gugu Mbatha Raw is an actress British actress who gained recognition for her performance in the television show 'Doctor Who.' This British TV science-fiction series was shown by the BBC. Gugu's part in the show as Tish Jones was extremely popular. Tish Jones is the younger sister of Martha Jones. Chelsea Joy Handler, born 25 February 1975 at Livingston New Jersey, is the youngest of six children. Handler was the eldest of six children in the family. Handler was the child of a salesman and housewife. Her mother is a German who immigrated into America in the United States from Germany in 1958. After 10 years of fighting breast cancer, Handler died in 1989. Handler's father was Jewish and she was raised within Reform Judaism. Handler was born into an area that was nice, and enjoyed a pleasant childhood. She was just 19 when she decided to move into Los Angeles and pursue acting. Handler became an actress in order to help her. Handler aged at the age of 21 and decided to pursue stand-up comedy full time following her discovery of storytelling. Handler started her stand-up career on her role on the Oxygen Network's Girls Behaving Poorly which was a reality program with a hidden-camera/practical joke. The show ran on air from 2002 to 2005. The host appeared on numerous shows including Weekends at D.L. The Bernie Mac Show The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler was a part of The Tonight Show for a time as a reporter. Handler made her breakthrough in 2006 when she started host her own program on E! The Chelsea Handler Program. The show lasted for two seasons. Handler was then seen in the United States in the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend as well as HBO have aired her stand-up performances. In 2010, she was confirmed for the role of host at 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. The only woman to ever host VMAs, after Roseanne Bar.
