Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4th, 1981) is an American actor. Her most well-known work is her roles in the film Cowboys & Aliens. The actress gained acclaim for her roles on the show drama Rectify as well as the sci-fi show Timeless. A native of Gulf Breeze Her first role was in soap opera All My Children. In recognition of her exceptional performance that she won the Soap Opera Digest Award. The following years she mostly played guest characters on a variety of television series. The role she played as Dr. Erin Jameson on the show Hawthorne was praised by the audience. Her beautiful appearance and powerful acting abilities helped her to build a loyal fan base. Her film debut was at just twenty-something, and she appeared the role of a girl in Campfire Stones. The actress has also been featured as a character in Jekyll This Means War, Chasing Mavericks and other films. Her role for in Beautiful Now was recognized with a Madrid International Film Festival Award. The most recent role she has played on TV has been in the leading part of the professor of history Lucy Preston in the sci-fi television series Timeless. Spencer was named one of the Teen Choice Award nominee for Spencer's role in Timeless. The show has received reviews of praise.
