Allyson Felix
Allyson Michelle Felix was born in Los Angeles on November 18 1985. She was the daughter of Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley as well as the mother of her child Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix's ability to compete in athletics was evident from the moment she started attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. She came second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in only 10 weeks, after her very first tryout. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003, signed a sports contract with Adidas. Then she went to an institution called the University of Southern California and pursued a degree in elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic medal at the 2004's Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200m in 22.18s, setting an all-time junior world record. She was the youngest world champion of 200 meters during the Helsinki World Championships. She was able to defend her title in 2007, beating her longtime Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix competed in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and has consistently ranked within the top three athletes in her respective events.
